UK SALES MANAGER £44-48k Plus High OTE + Car / Allowance
As a result of continued growth, an immediate opening now exists with an international industry leader in the supply and service of electrical products to the Petro-Chem, Oil & Gas industries on a National and Pan European basis. The position with be located within the London & M25 area.
Reporting to the European Sales Director OGP you will work with both the local team and with European / Global Account colleagues. You will be responsible for sales of industrial electrical products i.e. cable and associated equipment to new customers as well as the existing customer base consisting of oil and gas producers, process gas companies, engineering firms and EPC contractors such as KBR, Amec, CB&I, Fluor, Worley-Parsons, Bechtel or TECHNIP. You will also work with the oil companies (i.e. Shell, BP) to ensure the company is approved in major projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience of selling equipment and or servicing the same client base. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong motivation, work ethic, organisation and time management skills and a strong aptitude for sales. Excellent communication, both written and oral and presentation skills are required. Responsibilities include:- i) Preparation of proposals ensure proper process design, equipment selection and price estimating. ii) Travel to European markets and other locations within the region as & where required. iii) Making product presentations to customers iv) Follow up projects when awarded to ensure adequate coordination.
Other key requirements include:- i) Electrical Engineering qualification desired ii) Previous sales experience in the Oil & Gas Processing Industry is essential for this role. Good understanding of OGP project documentation and inspection procedures. iii) Preference given to multi-lingual candidates with flexibility for extensive international travel.
