Full Description A thorough understanding of the interplay of the push and pull of commercial and specification electro/mechanical construction products through the UK distribution channel would be a distinct advantage as would a portfolio of key relationships in this sector.

The Group Sales Director will be responsible for a business T/o circa £75million and will report to the CEO.

Key responsibilities include the strategic business planning and implementation of the Group’s Commercial sales  activities with a head count of 100+ staff. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and energetic leader, with a positive and results-focussed outlook, who has an ability to drive successfully a business forward that operates with a UK core and Export business. You will be highly task-focussed, having a strong commercial and strategic approach to your work. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate a proven track record of running a large scale commercial sales team. The Group Sales Director will be stimulated by pace and change but is also focussed upon the attention to detail. A strong initiator and driver of change that seeks continuous improvement from your business, a team builder rather than a maintainer of their role.
