Job Title Area General Manager

Full Description The Role of the Area General Manager:

Ensure first class and compliant operational delivery of Facilities Management services to support business continuity needs.
Help develop and drive initiatives to reduce cost and deliver excellence in customer service
Understand and adapts continuously to client business drivers, challenges and expectations
Lead pro-active working relationships with supplier partners
Resolve all day-to-day performance issues
Keep the Group Directors and key stakeholders fully informed of exceptional issues
Ensure collection, consolidation and presentation of management information at appropriate levels
Compile and deliver Profit and loss plan for the region.
Manage talent and succession in all levels of the accounts, striving to build and develop potential at all levels.
Establish process performance metrics; tracking, analysing reporting performance in terms of quality safety, cost, customer satisfaction and taking corrective action where necessary

The ideal Area General Manager should have/be:

Degree Level educated or equivalent
A facilities management professional with substantial management experience
Confident in the use of Microsoft products
Ideally experience within a client facing, blue chip environment where change is a constant.
Leverages open honest communication to build trust and generate enthusiasm
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to prepare and present sound business cases
Excellent relationship building skills
Robust, assertive and dynamic attitude towards achieving results and delivering high quality service provision
Strong influencer with the ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture
Contractually astute and able to work within the confines of contractual requirements and budgets.
